Undrawing - 2-day Workshop Replay

On June 18th & 19th, we held a 2-day workshop on Undrawing the Figure in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina. The video replay consists nearly 5 hours of live content.

The Saturday Workshop focuses on seeing gradients of tone on the model and capturing them quickly and efficiently using just three types of marks. We're less concerned about capturing proportion, at this point, than we are with understanding how light and darkness create mass.

In the Sunday Workshop we learn how to see proportion using triangulation of landmarks on the model - in this case, using shapes we've painted on her skin in various places. We also introduce techniques to help us work more quickly and to narrow our focus so that we're able to better see shapes.

The Saturday videos are lower resolution than the Sunday videos, thus the difference in file sizes.

While this workshop is similar to previous ones - we talk about and demonstrate many of the same ideas - the audio and video quality of the playback here is considerably improved.
